Swimming with the Mia Maids

The water was pretty cold, and the pool had a ton of chlorine, but did we have fun anyway? Take a look...

Bethany can sing AND be a cheerleader, too!

Ta-da!

Awwww.

Inching in...

...Ellie just went for it!

Sis. Bennett's new do!

Amy

Synchronized Handstands.

Who's gonna' win this one?

Victory!

Too Cute Baby Blanket

The Mia Maids wanted to do something for Sister Huffman's baby, so we decided to make a blanket. It was a cute quilt that would turn out looking something like this...

Except ours was red fabric with a farm animal print fabric.

Amy had never sewn before and her lines looked like she had sewn a lot before!

Lauren's machine had personality!

Natasha got to use Sis. Cane's NEW machine! It was a dream!

Good Job Mia Maids!

Wined and Dined by the Priests

The priests cooked an awesome breakfast-dinner for us. They thought of everything...check out the spread in the picture. We got to hang out, use the phone booth, eat, and then enjoy an inspiring video about the priesthood. Way to go priests.

Beehive's Back To School Blast

The Beehives had a great time on Wednesday night. We watched "One Night With The King" and had a back to school party. We had a jumbo bag of popcorn- At least two feet tall- even after we all ate too much of it. We all loved the movie and even had our class time go over an extra hour. Jessie, Mackenzie, and Rachel decorated the room with posters, string, tissue paper, printer paper, metalic streamers and more. As Sister Wallentine said "Our first party, was a huge success.

Sacrament Youth Speaker

You did a great job on your talk on Sunday Jenny!

Your testimony at the end was inspiring!

Sister Gorham

Sister Gorham has been very sick and we miss her a lot!

She has had some other illnesses on top of her morning sickness! If you find yourself thinking of her, feel free to call her or write her a note. She misses everyone, too!

Mia Maid's in Action

This Sunday Bethany and Ellie taught the lesson during the Mia Maid class. They did a great job!

They had some cute items for the center pieces and they used a lot of Mormon ad's as visual aids that were clever and helped to apply the principles to our everyday lives.

Way to go girls!

Heritage Night

Thanks Mia Maids for a great evening. I loved learning about all of your ancestors. I almost feel famous knowing someone related to the inventor of the chocolate chip cookie and the sculptor of Angel Moroni!
